Thank you for your interest in Flatfendering Aficionado Monthly. 

I need to get all of you up to speed with how all this works. I am a two person operation, not a big company with 120 employees. I also am a very busy mechanic during the day. We have a system to keep everything affordable and organized in a way we can handle it. Throw out the old notions on how magazines have been made and sold. That isn’t how this will work. Besides the other freelance writers, it’s the wife and I behind the scenes. I won’t be printing 20,000 books hoping I sell all of them, then taking what’s left to the dump. That’s wasteful, and overwhelming for us. That being said, here’s how this will go.

Each issue will be preordered. This gives us a solid number of copies needed for print without speculation. There will never be stacks for sale in Wal-Mart, on Amazon, or at Walgreens. I don’t use a huge print company where I’m treated like a number. This gives me greater control over my quality, and I support small businesses exclusively when I can. There is a 14 day window to preorder. That’s it. Information on ordering dates/times will be posted on Facebook/ Instagram/ and our website. At this time (and in the foreseeable future) there will be NO subscriptions.

This is all brand new to us, so bear with the growing pains. Originally, I had planned for quarterly books. It looks like they will be more like bimonthly at this point. Remember, all information dates will be on Facebook/ Instagram/ and our website.
